Mocktree Barns Cottages date from the 16th Century and were once a set of farm buildings. They were converted about ten years ago to provide 5 comfortable and well-equipped holiday cottages situated around a south-facing courtyard. The properties are set in an acre of grounds with panoramic views towards the Clee Hills and beyond. Working farmland is all around, with easy access for walking provided by a network of public footpaths. Visitors are welcome to share part of the large garden and courtyard. All of the cottages have a wealth of exposed beams and stone features.
Set in the grounds of a delightful turn of the century country villa on the outskirts of town, Cerdyn Cottage provides accommodation for up to 5 persons. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine and gas-fired central heating for those chillier Welsh nights. An integrated TV & DVD player along with audio equipment is provided in the living room. All gas usage is included in the rate, electricity used is charged at 10p per unit.
Within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and the station, Cerdyn Cottage is conveniently located and yet secluded.
